《SAN FRANCISCO: THE CITY BY THE BAY》舊金山：灣邊之城

  No single word perfectly characterizes San Francisco in my book. But over the years, I've thought of several apt words for this city by the bay.

   Unique. Because of San Francisco's unique geography, diverse microclimates exist. The weather could be cold and foggy on one street but clear and sunny a few blocks away. I often remind visiting friends to be aware of the varying temperatures and dress in layers.

就我個人看法而言，沒有一個單字可以完美描述舊金山的特色。但這些年來，我倒是想過幾個挺適合這個海灣城市的字詞。

獨特的。由於舊金山獨特的地理環境，因此生成了多樣的微氣候；某一條街道上的天氣可能寒冷多霧，但幾個 街區之外卻是晴空萬里。我常會提醒來訪的友人留意氣溫變化，以洋蔥式穿法作為應對。
